yes there is a down stop , it is bolted into the slot at the bottom of the track , it can be adjusted down so the window will completely drop below the weatherstrips
But if you adjust if to go all the way down it may drop below the weatherstrip, after it does that it can become misaligned with the slot between the inner & outer weatherstrips & you'll need to hold it in alignment to roll the window back up...
