    Help me get my new gas tank installed..........

    I didnt realize the strap brackets were gone and not on the new floors. Year One wants about $50 each.....and I was hoping someone had some options for me. THis is not a cherry car, so used would be OK, or even some old fashion engineering from a piece of angle iron? Ideas/help/suggestions?

    Year One is not the only vendor and often not the most inexpensive... look around a bit and post on in the Parts Wanted Section ...

    they are thin but still pretty stout pieces of metal...I would hate to see you loose you tank.

    BTW...what kinda car are we talking about?

    What kind of car ... I've got a Duster parts car that the straps may work for.  If you've got a '70 'cuda I can look at mine and see how similar they are ~
