Thanks guys for the information.
Actually, I had just located this site over the week end whilst tracing some cuda-challenger parts, but feel more comfortable now that I know it is recommended by some of you.
Topcat Noted with thanks.
Dave Actually, I remeber reading on one of the threads that these gasgets actually fit better than those supplied by year one. So, thanks again.

A bit of an update as I have been away for a while. Body stripping now completed but I found that the front fenders were not too good. I had bought a used couple a while back, and had them sent to the body shop.
In the meantime, I had sent the engine for boring to fit the 440source kit, but discovered that the block ahd already been bored and had new sleeves inserted to it. So I looked around and found a standard engine, and am using the block for that. Will report further.
My current problem is that I cannot find new or good used rear seat moldings, as mine are in a very bad shape, and were covered with Vinyl before. Any suggestions where I can find new or good used ones? My eyes are glued onto ebay, but other than one scammer trying to catch me off guard, nothing so far. I also did a small modification on the dash lights to make them stronger. Will post it in the interior and gauges section.
Cheers.

WOW! :22yikes: an NOS 71 Challenger grille for $400 that was a steal! How strange for you to find that over there and it just happens to be for your year Challenger. 71 grilles are so expensive because there aren't many of them because there were not that many 71 Challengers and they're plastic so they break easily, i am really glad that mine was in such great shape. I plan on using mine but I bought a 70 grille because I like the looks of it and I just had to save it because it was just laying in a junkyard.

Thanks for your concern wally. The explosion was in the north of Lebanon where as I live in the capital in the center of Lebanon.
We are sort of used to this kind of happenings, but hoping these irregularities will cease soon.
best regards, Farouk
