    Unfortunately, Right or Wrong - Putting him to death does not solve a damn thing. All we did once again was forced our will on another nation. There are a million saddam's over there waiting to take his place. Its the philosophy of the people and their religion. Until that is changed nothing will change.

    What I don't understand is,after we help Iran with the Iraq invasion and help Irag "gain their freedom"  why isn't gas 99¢ a gallon? Isn't their such a thing as "oil for food" or something like that? :dunno:

    I agree with MEK somewhat. I really don't beleive in killing anything. I quit hunting and fishing 20 years ago because it started to bother me looking at the dead animals I just killed. But I am sorry to say that the plain and simple truth is that SOME things need KILLING and he was one of them...
    I think if they let him live  out his life in Jail somewhere there would always be a chance he could escape...and kill millions more. This way it is a DONE deal.
    I for one support the desicion.

    You have a very short memory. Back when it all started, EVERYONE was demanding that something be done about Saddam Hussein and his quest for WMD. That includes Republicans, Democrats, and the man on the street. Do you honestly think we went to war just to make money for one company to rebuild it? That's about rediculous. Especially when Cheney was a FORMER employee. Just liberal press spin to get everyone riled against the administration. The real money issue here, is the media generating sensational headlines and praying on everyones fears to sell the news. They play both sides, all the time, just to create controversy. Too bad so many people believe what they say.
