I stopped at the Meijer store this afternoon to pick up some food. I was getting a little irked when I walked into the store as I was getting slowed down by the horde of women going through all the Christmas items they had put on racks out in the main isle for clearance. My mood quickly changed when the glow of a high impact color caught my eye from a box on one of the shelves. I looked closer to see, it was a radio control 1:16 scale hemi 'cuda. Clearance price was $13.39!!!!!!!!! I have made a resolution to not clutter up my house with more stuff and to avoid buying Chinese stuff for the new year, but thankfully it isn't 2007 yet! For the "numbers guy" it comes with a painted hood to replace the clear one. I put some batteries in it when I got home, fired it up and took it for a little spin out in my driveway before it got too dark.
The batteries cost almost as much as the car......
Sorry, they only had one at my local Meijer, but if you have Meijer near you it is worth checking to see if they have any more.
