The 10.5 clutch will be fine for street and some strip duty so don't sweat it.  Over the summer, I had a chance to sit in a friends Chally that used a diaphram clutch and had removed the over center spring on the pedal.  I didn't like the way it felt. It didn't have the stock feel that the over-center spring gives you when releasing the pedal at the top of it's travel. It felt spongy.  I have always been a believer of the stock style 3 or 6 roller centrifugal assist pressure plates.  Mopar Performance sells them and Mcleod is the brand I'm using now.  The faster it's spinning, the harder it's pushing.     Count your teeth on your flywheel to tell us what you have.    If it's all together, you probably already have a 4.8" hole with a 23 spline disk. You should be able to just turn the bearing retainer on the 833-OD trans and swap it out with the 833, without changing your current flywheel, clutch and bellhousing.

I totally agree with Chryco,  What fun is speed shifting if you don't know if your clutch will come back up.

Moparnut, what I'm saying is that you probably already have the right 130 tooth flywheel and 10.5 or 10.95"  setup in the bee and not an 11" in there. After checking, just send your newer flywheel to be balanced with the other motor.

typically a 69 bee will have the iron bel & 143 tooth flywheel , stick a magnet to the belhousing

you have both flywheels & the new bel from Brewers is probably cheaper than the new clutch will be  so you have a choice

to many choices are my problem, like the guy in the commercial that cant decide what to do,lol
so here are my choices
1. find an used aluminum bell and use my new hays clutch kit 10.5/130 flywheel that i have on a shelf, turn down the bell/OD bearing
2.use the existing cast bell/143 tooth and buy a new clutch kit and turn down the OD bearing
3.Punt!
My whole reason for debating this is i have to get whatever flywheel i am going to use to the machine shop ASAP for balancing the engine i have there being rebuilt.I dont know if i am going to have time to pull the motor/trans out of the bee soon,In the limited spare time i have the next 2 weeks the rest of my GC(roller, only 1/4's and tail left to blast and prime )has to be blasted and taken to the painter before he has shoulder surgery to get it painted. In the past 2 weeks i got back the doors, trunk, hood, and fenders that have nice perdy EF8 on them
