What's this?
« on: January 16, 2007 - 11:46:41 PM »
I reached under the passenger seat of my 72 chally 2nite in the garage and found this wire, with 2 metal connectors on the end, wired up, I think, into the seat. B/C it's in the garage, I can't open the pass door to get under there with a flashlight.

It is part of the seat belt warning light / buzzer system.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Now where would it plug in to?

It should plug into the sensor switch, it is a long flat do-hicky that is under the seat bottom. The weight of the person in the seat compresses the switch and activates the system.

People unplug them all the time becasue the buzzer is annoying.

Thats one of the first things that get unplugged who needs that sensor to tell you that your seatbelt isn't on.
