Welcome to the board CudaGirl! You are definately in the minority on the site, but its cool. The guys here are really great, pretty funny and don't seem to mind having us around. I believe you are one of 3 women on the site; myself, 71Pinke and, of course, you.
As far as getting a 71 cuda for $2000, that will be tough. I did see 2 on eBay about a month ago that were totally rusted out and no engine or tranny that were sitting at about $1800. I don't know if you've ever done an e-body resto before, but they are NOT cheap to do. Unless you can do the body work yourself, it's gonna take a chunk of change (not to mention having to purchase a drive train). But, if you're really up for the challenge, I'll keep an eye out for you.
Good luck and again, welcome to the board.
