I'm tired of my Challenger sitting so somebody give it a new home. I simply don't have time for it like I used to.
It a a 70 318 car. The rust is limited to the trunk center. Will need general body work to take out small dents and dings from the last 27 years but no cutting other than the trunk pan. Has 72 440 auto drivetrain. 3.23 SG 8.75. Was A/C car but most A/C stuff is gone.
Fk5/FK5 original. Has had one repaint around 1980. I'm the 2nd owner ever. Owned since 1999.
Discs brakes in front. Has road race weight torsion bars, rear sway bar. Power steering. Poly bushings all over.
Console auto, w/ Pistol grip knob. Front seats recovered. Super nice woodgrain steering wheel I tracked down comes with it.
New 2 1/2" exhaust w/ cutout rear valance and good 70 tips. X pipe. New gas tank, 3/8ths sending unit installed a few years ago.
Comes with 70 Challenger parts car. Parts car has every piece needed to restore the good car. Mint Ralleye cluster.
Car has been sitting and electric fuel pump has locked up. Will need new one installed to fire up.
I have new 496 stroker engine on stand in garage to go in car. Heads aren't bolted on yet so you can look over the shortblock if you want, have clearance specs, etc. All the good parts. Ported E heads, roller cam, Comp roller rockers, Milodon oil system, etc. Will run on pump gas. Also have Dynamic convertor and built 727.
I'm selling for less than the cost to get all these parts together on one place. It has taken me years to find all this stuff. This is a great project for somebody with the time to assemble it. I want this car to go to a good home, not a flipper. I drove this car a bunch until around 3 years ago. This is a good car that is seldom found. I have owned and looked at many, many, many Mopars over the years and you simply won't find one more solid underneath than this car.
