What kind of gas milage do you get with your Mopar Muscle car?

a friend of mine hit 22 mpg  [us]  in a 69 charger with a 318 , i was well over 20 mpg with a 440 but we had a slightly larger gallon [approx 12% larger] but still would have been over 20 /us gallon

Nope , Just tuning & the right combination of tire size / gear ratio

Well to be honest I was getting over 20mpg (UK Gallons) on a long run with my 440 Challenger when it was almost stock (except for a 284 duration MoPar cam and Edelbrock Performer carb) but then I started messing with it.
