440 &727
« on: January 03, 2007 - 08:13:26 PM »
Just wondering if anybody around WI would be interested in trading my complete 1970 440 hp engine and trans for a 340 with 4-speed. My engine ran fine when pulled by previous owner but has been sitting a few years.

Ok, thanks for the reply.
I will try and find a 340 to put with my 4 speed.
I may know someone who has one I can get.
Does the 340 need to be complete and running or just a core motor complete?
Do you require a bellhousing with the trade?
Can you meet 1/2 way?

It definetly would be nice to be running. Idealy I would like to find an engine trans combo bolted together yet that was running when pulled out of a wreck. Or something like that anyways. I would like to not have to deal with a machine shop.
I dont have a problem meeting somwheres.

Anbody with a running 340 and just a 4-spped tailhousing?
