Cuda fiberglass body
« on: January 16, 2007 - 07:23:18 PM »
I am looking for a mini Cuda fiberglass body that will fit my mini rod puller. I have just bought a fantastic pulling machine to compete in mini rod pulls this year.
Right now it has a Dale Earnhardt #3 body on it. I want to take it off and use a Cuda body on it. Promblem is, I can't find one anywhere. I know someone has had to make one sometime down the line.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a newbee and I'm not sure how to add an attachment but I am trying to do that.

I know the front end looks like crap but I plan on having the front wheels cut out as soon as I get it home.

It is designed to be a sled puller. This is the exception to the rule, most of these mini rods look like a mini dragster.
It's a big deal here in Missouri and Arkansas. This will be the only funny car like this in this class.
I hope to pull as an exhibition puller. I would really like to have a Cuda body for it though.

I am not sure if that is a full size car, but you can get a 70-74 Cuda or Challenger body here.

Wow!  That's way cool!

What do you have for an engine???

Can you just repaint that body to look like a Cuda?  Sort of like what they did with the old funny car bodies?

I wish it were that easy. I don't know if a good fiberglass man could reshape the body to look like a Cuda. not much to work with but it would be the easier way to go.
Living here in the Ozarks there a lot of fiberglass guys that work on boats and things so it might be possible.
I guess I will check it out and see.

STAY AWAY FROM SHOWCARS BODYPARTS!  They will take your money and you'll never see your fiberglass body!!

They stole $900 from me in June 2006 and I've never received my hood.  They don't answer emails and they either won't answer the phone or leave you on indefinite hold!!! :villagers:
