Does anyone have any idea of how many 71 340 Demons were built?

I don't clown, but a guy within 40 miles has one that was solid and kids broke the windows out of it. He wanted 300 bucks for it. :2thumbs:  wish you were closer, but then, you'd be storing all your new toys on my land and I would have nothing to mow

I sure would like to see a series of pics of that car along with your evaluation of the overall car. I just bought a 71 Dart just north of you a couple weeks ago. For that kind of money I would consider making another trip south. Send me some pics and more info. That is, in your spare time  :roflsmiley: Seriously, I'd like to know more about this Demon, your sure it's a 71?   IT  HAS  TO  BE  A  71  MODEL  ! !

Like this?  I'd give my left arm to have this car back. My mom was working at the Jefferson plant when this car was built and she followed it through the factory.  I still have the window sticker.

Yeah the same guy has a 71 duster too. Both 71's and 600 for both or 300 each, but I got things I am doing right now keeping me away from other cars. He also has a 68 coronet 500 300 bucks, some chargers, 300 bucks, the cars are all over here, I just don't want to start buying/ selling or stacking them up in my yard again. I just got rid of 200 mopars 10 years ago. Sent them all over the states and world. Yearone bought all my dash pads too. I got maybe 10 or so cores left. If I start getting involved in all this again, it will turn into a 24/7 job/ headache again. I don't mean to be a pain in anybodies but here, but this week alone I worked 60 hrs and drove 1200 miles. So when I'm home, I relax. After I unwind a bit, I may go buy the 2 a bodies, and hold them for members, but believe me....My name Moparal and alyerpal, was gave to me not chosen. Been doing these cars since 1969 and I have plenty of them. I'm just slowing down and wearing down is all.  I was told today by a friend to slow down, he said that I am 3 or 4 times faster then anyone he's met at my age and he thinks I am leeding up to a heart attack....... I don't think so.... I have slowed down a whole bunch. I ache in the mornings like anyone else that works 7 16 hr days. But if you enjoy what you do, I can't say it's work. It's my memory leaving me that's bothering me, If I remember to think about that :roflsmiley:

This is "the clown's" thread, but if you do snag the Demon and he's not interested, I am.  As you can see in the pics, it has sentimental value to me.

Not to worry guys, Al e-mailed me and said he contacted the owner and he sold the 71 Demon and 71 Duster last Friday. If they held together after winching them onto a trailer somebody got a deal.
