Believe it or not 392heminut... that tool chest is from "back in the day" and was given to me by my neighbor who didn't want to haul it down to Arizona when he moved... it's survived being hit by a school bus... long story... ;) :D

I've had mine since 1974, and it has survived rolling off the bed of a flat bed pickup while loaded with tools. :o Had to put new casters in it though, they didn't make it. :-[

Because it was hit in the lower part by the bus... a few of the lower draws stick a little... but I can live with that... what you don't see on the other wall of the garage is another almost brand new tool chest (Nomak)... my friends dad was going to throw it out because he was cleaning house... luckily he called me before he did... ::) :o I need more tools to fill that one up now... hehe!

Yeah, my wife starts having fits if I get anywhere near a Sears or a Harbor Freight! I keep telling her it's a guy thing, you have all those measuring cups and pots and pans, I have all those wrenches and sockets. That's when I start getting the dirty looks! ;D

ROFL!!!  :D Read that to my mom... she gave me a look...  ::) :P Go figure... 8)

EDIT: Finally got the torsion bars out... only after catching my index finger between the hammer and a block of wood... think I chipped the bone... a good anger management note... use the hammer on a cement floor... my garage floor is hurting now... ::) :o :D

Hey, I've seen that act before! I had a friend with a cherry 69 Boss 302 Mustang. I was helping him put the motor back in, and he had just finished bolting the headers up. Real tight in there, and he had wisely put the clutch linkage z-bar up where it belonged before doing the headers. When he went to hook the clutch linkage up he found that the z-bar had turned, and was wedged in the header, and he was going to have to take the header loose again. He came out from under that car with a ballpeen hammer and beat h*ll out of that garage floor, yelling "dirty b*stard!" over and over. It was hilarious to say the least. ;D

 :D Yeah,
I gotta friend that puts on a good act, you just have to bite your lip and not let him know you are laughing inside. He'll start throwing his tools, and yell "Chinese bull$hit". It's even funnier, because the car is Japanese.

Some things are funny no matter what... when I was pulling the bolts outta the motor mounts when I was pulling my six out... we busted 2 ratchets and a 3" extension... I've never laughed so hard in my life watching the guts of a ratchet go flying across the garage... ::) :D :P

If the K member is still in the car & you are having trouble getting the torsion bars to go back, then loosen the nut on the front of the lower control arm bolt in front of the K memb.  Turn the nut out until it is flush w/ the end of the bolt.  The take something flat (preferably metal) & lay against it, & hit it w/ a big hammer. This will break the T-bars loose from being stuck.  Also, it would probably be good to spray a little PBB around the front & back of the T-bars where they go through the back x memb.   Ovmf
