« on: January 25, 2007 - 11:31:31 PM »
I have a 71' 440 with all the correct brackets for alternator, power steering, and i'm putting a vintage air Sanden compressor on it...HOWEVER, I can NOT find the correct water pump pulley for the LIFE of me :pullinghair:  Does anyone have a site that has the correct water pump pulley for a 440 with power steering and air? :1zhelp:

Lets see a pic of your set up. I am sure I have the stock pulley for a stock system if that's what you need.

I got a pulley off a 383 but doesn't line up with my crank pulley, and is way to wide, almost rubs on the crank pulley :dunno:

On an a/c system, the water pump pulley isn't very big at all and has to be run with a specific idler pulley and a bracket that mounts to the water pump too.So the water pump has it's own belt that is driven off the crank and idler. Then you have a pair of belts running the a/c compressor and alt. Then a seperate belt for the power steering I do believe. Totaling 4 belts with 2 being a matched pair for the a/c.
