Metal Penstar emblem question?

I have been going through some of my emblems and ran across this penstar emblem. I'm not sure what it's off of. It could be a hood emblem but I really don't know. If anyone knows let me know. Here is the part number on the back and pictures of both sides. Part# 2449932. It has a guide stud on back and a stud for a nut to hold it in place.

Used on various Dodges from 1965-1971 including Challengers.

I think the base flat hood 70 Challengers had them.

Possibly a '68 '69 Dart hood emblem....

it came on both the 70&71 Challenger flat hood.  The original shaker hood on my 70 Challenger also had it.

How big is it it woudln't be for the door panel would it

The part number shows it is the emblem around 1 inch in height.  The door panel emblem is a smaller version of this emblem.

I have seen this on the outer sail panel of a 69 B body with a vinyl top. I just can't remember if it attached by peg or screw.

  It measures about 2 inches if you measure corner to corner.

Yeah, on my '71 that is the same emblem, the nut screws on there

That was on 70-71 flat and shaker hoods, its known as the dodge "triad" emblem

I got a couple of those, from  1968 Dodge Coronet, but don't remember where on the car..
