A funny story about body kits:
A guy at my work has a civic that he did a ton of upgrades; including a engine swap, turbo, etc, etc. He took me for a ride and it was a fast car for a honda; a 13 second car. The rest of the car looked stock and he never got bothered by the police, that was until he started thinking about a body kit.
Well I tried to convince him to leave it stock and be happy with a sleeper, but nope he had to have one.
So after he invested a bunch of money in the body kit, he started to get pulled over by the police. Then just last week, he got his first speeding ticket. Well I hated to tell him "I told you so" because now he does not want to drive the car any more on the street.
