I miss my cars!!!!!!!!!
« on: January 30, 2007 - 08:09:39 PM »
This is why I hate a job that requires a lot of travel. I get on the road and all day long I think about working on my toys. The night before I left I installed all the brake lines, portioning valve, mc, hoses and installed kits in the front calipers, now I gotta run the 3/8ths fuel line and sender before I can start it up.

So I get an email tonight asking me to do a two day job around Ocala Fl.   It just never stops.

Took 2 days here in Tampa for them to get the high speed internet up. I was jonesing.

And back to the main part of my post....I wanna play with my cars!!!!!!!

Sounds like you all are somewhere warm.  I miss my cars too . . one is in pieces and the other in storage.  Not going to see either one of them on the road anytime soon!   :walkaway:   I really don't care to much for winter but I deal with it as Michigan is my home but maybe one day I'll have a second home somewhere warm, probably not anytime too soon though.   :grinno:

Mine are stuck in a snow bank also. It's supposed to hit -30 by the weekend so even if I could get to them they would't turn over anyway!

I can definately relate to you missing your Baby. Even if I am not doing any work on her, I still have to walk out to the garage everyday when I get home from work and talk to her. Maybe for those times when I have to travel I can set up a pc in the garage with a camera and then I can at least say goodnight to her at days end. I am sure that there are times when she gets lonely and just needs someone to talk to or a hug.

No dreamin now, I drove through tornados, worked 13 hrs then drove 600 miles home. And now ladys and gentlmen, I am going outside to

Install the coil and bracket on the 6pk engine
rebuild the front brake calipers
put the thermal clutch on the viscious fan and install

Then unload all this steel, conveyor belt, and other goodies the plants gave me :2thumbs:

Oh yeah, (sigh of relief) I am home. What a wonderful day I will make this. No football, just me and my mopars :working: :burnout: :wavingflag: :canada: :nzflag:
