    Hmmm...don't know what to make of it.  With so many people scamming everyone and thier grandmother, I don't know what to think if this.  :dunno:  Maybe this guy really has no money, maybe he does, who knows?

    I would love to have someone pay to restore my car too!   :blah:

    The sad part is, tons of people will send him money. I saw something on TV a while back about a woman who got her self really deep in debt shopping. She made a site like that and begged for money the same way and made enough money within a couple months to pay off the debt. Some people just have no shame.

    :iagree:  Yep, or else, "I have a terminal disease and need to feed my kids."  where in reality it's for the plasma TV fund.  :faint:

    On the other hand, it does show that there are nice, charitable people still left in the world.  :thumbsup:

    How can he have any self pride about his car when he didn't even put all his own hard earned money into it? I don't care how much he makes doing that.

    Wow, so you mean that because I have put my funds into something other than my car right now (college), I could post an ad such as this and hope that through sympathy total strangers will help me fund the rest of my resto?  WOW! :faint:  Now back to reality.  Provided this is a legitimate story, it was nice that he became good friends with this terminally ill man, but c'mon, if you don't have the funds to restore a car you usually have to ration yourself to two options: 1.) Sell it off to someone with the available funds or 2.) Store it until you have enough money set aside to begin fixing it up as the man would have wanted it.  I don't really know how you could post a pity ad like that on the Internet for the rest of us to see. ::)  I consider myself rather empathetic towards others, but this kind of stuff puts me over the top.  I struggle between my college education and trying to put aside enough money to continue progress on my '73, but you'll never see me "on the streets" begging for money for either cause. ::)

    Unbelievable!  SOME PEOPLE......!!!  I'm blessed with a lot that I worked for and with, on disability!  My life is kinda on hold as I try to get through the tragedy that it turned into, Lord willing I'll get through it and live my life, or it could even be the end of me!  I am not begging or asking for anything, I'm restoreing my nicest car to sell and finance things.  I have faith that the truth will set me free and I can put my life back together, looking forward to that!   Then I can restore my Cuda, which is still in the same shape as you see below.  I guess it would be nice if some of these over-rich freedom haters who spend millions trying to take away our American rights and freedom away would throw a chunk of cash to a good cause like me!  But I probably wouldn't even take it...  I'll probably end up haveing to sell my fine home and land which belonged to my grandparents with the fine 32x40 insulated shop I built too.  I'll find a place IN THE COUNTRY and buind another one!!!  Didn't mean to go on so much but people like that guy make my blood boil!!!  Hey!  Someone should ask this sucker to DONATE his Cuda to someone who deserves it, like someone who served our country so he could even post an ad like that!  Well, I guess that's it.
