Perks....5 weeks vacation, 4 personal days, 3 illness in family days, 365 full paid sick days. Getting to work on a very interesting project rebuilding an elevated railroad with minimal interruption to service. Plenty of engineering feats, unique solutions, and lots of heavy equipment. The personal satisfaction of knowing when the project is done, that i had a part in making it happen.
additional perks....summers are pretty much tied up for the last 2 years, and will be for the next two, I get to work fridays, saturdays and sundays and get paid my regular 40 hr paycheck (the joys of being an exempt employee!). Gets lots of practice agrueing with contractors too.
