Most of that will BUFF out!  Could always cover the rest with some stickers . . adds horsepower!

Cirlce track cars got banged up all the time. If the cage and frame are good, tack on some new metal and go throw some dirt. 

Or just race it as is, I would.

I think you'll find its actually a 'cuda

It's hard to tell what it is exactly...... Sure, it has a Challenger style hood (doesn't look original) but those rear quarters look long, almost B-Body. The front fenders look narrow.....anyone wanna take a stab? You'd think the guys who own the site would know and they definitely say it's a Challenger. Steering wheel confirms it's a latter year, though this could have been added in later.

Im saying 'cuda because of the top of rge crease at the top of the quarter panel, just below where it meets the c-pillar, and at the front of the fenders where they come up to the grille and headlights and sorta curve/tuck in.
Also, it wouldnt take much to remove the header panel to put a challenger ralley hood on a 'cuda.

Yeah, still doesn't look like either. The panels don't have the Challenger accent line, from what I can see.

What ever it is, it's a mess, I still say it's a Challenger, perhaps they know from the fender tag.
Looking at it a little more guess it could be a Cuda, the rear end square 1/4 panel etc.

Yeah, the rear quarters do look a little long like a B-body but when you see the side shot of in the trunk it looks short.  Looks like there are no rear extensions like a B-body.  Also it looks like it has the mount for a Slap Stik shifter and it has a E-body steering column, has a crush can.

Looks like it was possibly a 340/360 car, unless some 318s came with a factory 4 barrel intake.  If thats the original engine, it may be a '72-'74 car.

Looking at the way the rear quarter goes into the back edge of the door I might have to side with Barracuda.  (See the last pic.)
