'74 Challenger Rallye Cluster
« on: February 05, 2007 - 08:11:08 PM »
Gauging intrest, I guess you could say.  All gauges function, the clock pull is little finicky...like to come off the post.

I did a search on here about this cluster and came up with like 4 hits.  I hope that I'm not beating a dead horse here...if I am, forgive me for being an E body nOOb....

Those will work in 74's but are proper for 70-71.. 70-71 has 8 grand tach...72-74 7K tach.. I would venture to say around 400-700.. Just a guess

The Tach, fuel, temp, oil, and amp meters are good for 70-74 but the speedo and clock wont work for the 70-71. it is a very nice looking cluster and i have seen them go for big bucks. probably a 400 give or take bucks? i would love to pick it up for my 70 but have no $$. hope this helps

So, the speedo and the clock are what changed from 70-74?  Interesting....  I'm also thinking of getting rid of the bezel, too.

the position of the reset is what changed with those two and the tach went from 8K (70-71) to the 7K (72-74)

So by that rationale, someone changed the tach in this cluster?  It came with my 74, and it's listed on the build sheet that it came with a rallye cluster.....   WEIRD!!!!!

it is strange but maybe the 7K tach stopped working and they found a 8K tach to replace it. they changed after 71 though
