I thought the commercials were o.k.  The flyover shoulda dropped a JDAM on Billy Joel for butchering the national anthem.

LOL!!!  That was pretty funny!!!

I was at the Orange Bowl this year at Dolphins Stadium and we were tailgating and we lost track of time   :drunk:  and the jets flew right over us!!!  It was awesome It almost made all the bad happenings in FL go away,  I do say almost lightly as can be, LOL!!!!  The Fly over was cool!!!

The commercial that made me laugh the most was the one with the machine on the assembly line who was kicked out and they played that depressing song "All By My Self" and it dreamed it committed suicide LOL!!!  That had me laughing.

That's awesome that you were there.  Hope you enjoyed the show and the game.

I actually thought the half-time show was good this year.  While some of the songs in Prince's medley wouldn't have been my choice, at least you could tell that he played the show, rather than lip-synch it.  Not half bad, IMHO.

And the commercials did seem lame this year.  I'm happy that the Colts won!

FYI:  All the commercials can be seen on www.cbs.com
Personally, I didn't think this year was great for the commercials.

I liked the one about tthe Bud drinkers at the wedding.  They couldn't wait to get the wedding over with and get to the Bud.  They hired and Auctioneer to perform the wedding vows.  I thought that is exactly like a bunch of guys planning the wedding......    :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:   :smilielol:   :smilielol:      :cooldancing:

so i learned that when doing rock paper scissors for the last beer you hit your opponent in the head with a real rock.  :poopoke:  As for flyovers,, ya theyre pretty cool as a season ticket holder for Navy we see one at every home games but for a really cool flyover, commissioning week is the absolute best with 2 days of blue angels shows and a really low flyover at the commencement ceremony
see Bill run  go Navy football///fly navy

I think the best one was the Block Buster mouse. I was not interested in the half time 'cause they can keep Prince so I went to make pizzas and we had a lunch.

Why don't they make it a national holiday over there? Superbowl Day?
It's such a big thing to you guys in the States it would make for a good holiday.  :dunno:

Maybe the two teams who are in it's States get the holidays, more to cheer for!  :clapping: :lol2:

Saw it!  Looked like John Oates from Daryl hall and John Oates fame!  :roflsmiley:  The look of the guys boss at the end is classic!

The Mapasaurus one was interesting.  Reminded me of the old Japanese monster movies I used to watch as a kid.

NZ,

My  suggestion is to have the game on a Saturday night, so people can sleep it off the next day. Nobody listens to me.  :walkaway:

Anyway, after seeing those 2 guys kiss during the Snickers commercial, I suddenly lost my urge to eat candy.  :scared:  :scared:  :scared:
