70 (F) 383 HP block wanted - dated between 11-69 to 3-70

Looking for a date coded block to go into my 70 Cuda with an April 30 build sheet date and hopefully close to Iowa / Illinois with no more than a 0.030 over bore.

Thanks for the link clown, something closer would be nice but he did have what I was looking for and I'll keep it in mind.

Look up member v8440. He has a complete standard bore 70 he took out of a challenger for 500. It's still all together minus the oil pan I took off, and it spins free

I'd like to thank everyone for their help on this.  I have a motor now from member v8440 and he was great to deal with and kept every end of the deal up on his side and somehow managed to get a ridiculous shipping discount that made the deal.

Neil (v8440) is a good guy. He's turning into quite the pack rat for extra parts. I got the manifolds off the 383 you just got. I needed 1970's and all I have is 1969's

Geeze, I can't even get the member right, it was grossum!

Yeah, I wish I got the exhaust manifolds (I would at least like to know the dates on them as a reference) and some 70 valve covers but I got what I got.

Neil, you got what we talked about this morning....good luck on your interview. I fly out sat or sunday, so I may get to drive over to your place sudden, but not sure. I just bought a pile of stuff for my purple car and will be doing 12 hr days to get this stuff on as it comes in
