     :clueless: anyone ever stay there before.its out in san diego ca.going out there next week for a few days and wondering how it is there.looks like a very nice place,about 30 miles from san diego.can see the mountains in the backgroundalso looks like they have a buetiful golf coarse.a plus to this is i was on the net the other day and found a 1/8 mile drag strip five miles away.the are running there sat and sun next week for test and tune day.may check it out onsat day 10-4 time slot.should be a good time either way.  :2thumbs:

    How have things been, or where have you been?  Working on the chally in sub-zero temps?   :roflsmiley:

    I stayed there about two years ago.  It is off the beaten path to say the least, about a 45 minute to one hour drive from San Diego attractions, Beach, Zoo, Old Town, etc.  The hotel is really nice with clean rooms and great service.  Wasn’t to keen on the casino though…to smoky for me.  Which reminds me, ask for a non-smoking room if you do not smoke?  The slots where tight, not much pay back for what I put in.  Did play in the card room…..that’s where I won most of my money.

     :2thumbs: Thanks for the info 67vertman,ya i do smoke so that won't be a problem.my game of choice is blackjack so i'll see how that goes.p/s do they have a lounge for drinks etc.beer wine etc or do you have to go over to the golf club?

    They have a couple of lounges....and they also serve drinks at your gaming table. The matrons wear low cut tops and high riding skirts....so be sure to tip them well the first few times and they will make regular stops at your table from then on out.  :drunk:

     :woohoo: The guy that told me about this place and helped set me up with management said they didn't serve cocktails there or something to that effect,i like to have a couple when i'm gambling so.  :clapping: my problem is i have to learn to quit when i'm ahead quite a bit.i never learn.  :banghead: thanks for the heads up vertman,i'm looking forward to just get away from work dailey routine etc...thanks for the good luck,i'll probably need it.  :lol2:  :lol2: ---dave---

    They don't serve free drinks like they do in Las Vegas....but the do serve drinks. :cheers:

    If you make it to San Diego, do youreself a favor and go straight to Coronado. The Hotel Del Coronado has alot of history in it.
