Hi Guys
One of my 71 Challengers is an all original R/T Auto, 383 magnum engine, but I believe that over the years before I owned it, the carb was changed, and a smaller one was fitted to it.
The car performs extremely well upto 3000 rpm, then sort of falls short of power.
Question is, after I thoroghly investigate all aspects that might lead to such a state, if a new carb is needed, what cfm should it be?
From your experience, what is the ideal carb to fit on it, if different from what originally came on this engine?
Attached is a photo of the car.
Thanks
