Nascar would be better if they didn't have Dale Jr. & Jeff Gordon. It just gets old on how much they talk about those two whether they do good or not. Aren't their 41 other cars out on the track??? It's all about money and not about racing...

Sorry guys, I don't follow NASCAR but is this unusual that there are all these penalties going around or is a normal thing with the Daytona 500?

:iagree:  I also agree I liked it better when they were "stock" cars.  I guess that's why the term isn't used so much anymore.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

SB72, no, its not irregular for all these fines, suspensions, etc...

The all want to win the Daytona 500, it all depends on how bad they want it, what theyre willing to do  :bricks1:

There`s always teams trying to get away bending the rules but Mikeys fuel additive is a pretty serious infraction.Of course he claimed to have no knowlegde of it and blamed it all on his crew chief which I find hard to believe.Nice way for toyoda to enter the series as cheaters!

Cheaters have always been in NASCAR. they been there from the first race and will be until the last one.

I would love to see NASCAR return to the old days and race "stock" cars.

Barry

I agree, run what you brung from the dealership floor. Too many restrictions. May the auto co woith the most R and D $$ win. Then we would get the old superbirds back

Would have been more interseting if Stuart hadn't taken out Busch.
