Are they supposed to be on my 71 ???

I think it depended on the hood decal you got and what type of hood is on it...

It has a rally hood and the R/T Hood decal and side stripes.

My rallye hood came with them but I think it was a 70' hood, or a special order hood (non-R/T) car?  I'm sure Barry can answer this one :grinyes:  I really don't know for sure what year/package had them didn't...so many had them...and didn't :faint:

Rick,

  If your car is a true R/T, then I say no. You should be able to look underneath and see the holes bondo-ed closed, but I don't think your car had them if it is an R/T. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.  :wave:

71 is the only year of magnum hood that did not have the letters on it.  Dodge was in the grille instead.

These pics are from the 71 sales brochure.  The plain hood used a Dodge emblem.  I also have a factory shaker hood with the Dodge symbol.
