Bending exhaust and fuel vent line
« on: May 21, 2007 - 11:43:07 PM »
My drivers side pipe wasn't made correct...and gets to close to the ground where i think it might scrape if I hit a large enough bump.  I had an idea to heat it and then jack up the back of the pipe to bend it closer to where it needs to be( NEVER BUY EXHAUST FROM YEARONE :stomp:!)  But my gas tank vent line is venting fumes under the car up front.  Where does is connect to in the engine bay?

I assume this a a 73-74 , if so the vent line used to connect to the carbon canister to trap gas fumes to be reburnt later

Correct, both vent line and fuel line come from back of car into the engine bay, one from fuel tank, other from separator.
