ebay carpet set? weatherstrip kit?
« on: February 28, 2007 - 05:01:23 PM »
I see an e-bay carpet set that from the description is the same as what YearOne offers. Anyone buy a carpet set from e-bay? Is it worth the 30 or so dollars that I will save? I can save substantial money on a weatherstrip kit and was wondering if anyone has bought one of those off e-bay as well. Thanks for any input,

Brett

Thanks for the reply. I do not have the manufacturer information and I do not want to get stuck with something new that is not correct or is cheaply made. YearOne might be more expensive but usually they offer the best and most accurate repops out there.

You can email the seller and ask him who makes the set. I just bought a set off ebay made by Trim Parts and I'm   very happy with it, I'm told thats what year one sells. for years ACC has been the best brand we could get for our AMX's and it wasn't as good as the trim parts brand in my opinion.  I also got a set of Metro brand weatherstrips and they're pretty good except for the 1/4 window seals they're some soft felt covered junk, I don't know if those are the best you can get or not but I left my originals in.
