Gran Coupe Overhead Console Door Switch
« on: June 27, 2007 - 07:36:14 PM »
I am putting the wiring back into the interior and noticed that the O/H console door ajar switches are worse for wear.  The switches are a single prong type.  Picture shows what is left of mine.  Is there anyone that sells these or is there a way to modify something else to work.

Appreciate it.

Do you have a clearer picture of your switch, and do you have any pictures, an dimentions,  of the location of the switch in the door jamb?

There is a post about this issue on Moparts, complete with a pic of the switch. These switches are extremely rare and thus far I have been unable to find any.

yup, I added a functional overhead console to my 72 Cuda and went with later model plastic door switches. I think the single pole switches are repro'd and the double pole like those in the hinge area are harder to find.

I may have a pair of the repros leftover, let me ck and I'll post some pics to make sure we're talking about the same thing.
