I have a new adjustable pinion snubber with three height settings
where should I set it
lowest / highest / middle
what really is the difference

for track use generally 1" away from the body or less
for street use whatever you can tolerate , it will be banging against the body all the time on every bump , I like the new threaded adjusters better , the 3 holes do not give much adjustment

on the middle setting it is touching the body

The chassis book says 0-2" for 4 spds and 1-2" for automatics.
Although I have to say, in all my years of racing I've never actually needed one. If your springs are the correct rate and are providing the necessary body seperation, you are actually putting distance between the body and the snubber and it will never contact the floor. Just another benefit of the unequal axle seating design of the mopar leaf springs.
