Van Nuys Spring Fling
« on: March 08, 2007 - 09:25:22 AM »
I am planning on attending the Van Nuys Spring Fling in May for the first time.  On the website is states they have a show both Saturday and Sunday.  I am flying in from Canada.  :canada: For those who have attended in the past, which day is best to go.  In Canada, our big car show day is normally Sunday but I noticed when I went to Carlise a few years ago Saturday was the big day, as are many US shows.

Thank you for the advice

I would try to do both days. Saturday is laidback and great for the swapmeet and the cruise up to the carwash afterwards but Sunday is where you see the judged show and maybe get some cheaper deals at the swap.

360s right-
it also depends what you are looking for-
if your looking for hard to find parts at the swapmeet-saturday early morning-i go around 5:00am and look/ask what people are selling while they are lined up waiting for the park to open up-i scored a RUST FREE STRAIGHT 70 cuda drivers fender which had a old style alarm keyhole drilled in it where somebody tried to hide w/ a little bondo and masking tape for 300.00-
sunday has less selection but better prices-
