"aircraft" remover is the thick gloppy STINKY chemical paint remover you can find at nearly any auto parts store. it usualy comes in a 1 gal metal can and goes by other names. I have one can that is called "Aircraft remover" and another called "BIX"  paint it on with a brush and in a few minutes to an hour (depends on the paint) you can wipe/scrape it off with a spatula, then wash with water.

BTW......use gloves and a resperator !! smells like amonia, and burns like fire.

I wouldn't use "Easy Off" on aluminum. That is pretty harsh stuff, and I'm sure it would tarnish the finish. Steel yes, aluminum no.  :grinno:

  Mike
:iagree:  DO NOT use easy off! It will dull the finish greatly.
