How do I remove my steering wheel?

Want to send out my steering wheel for restoration..

How do I remove it?

I don't know what wheel you have but... if you have the typical woodgrain wheel, there are 3 screws on the back of it that take off the padding, one on each spoke. Pull off the center cap after that. You will then see 3 nuts(3/8") that need to be removed to get the wheel off. Unplug the wire for the horn ground at this point too.

Yep thats the one the standard wood grain.

I suggestions on restoration shops for the wheel. No cracks just needs to have the wood grain re done
