70-71 and 72 rear bumpers/brackets
« on: March 13, 2007 - 11:05:37 AM »
Are they the same?  Do they all use same mounting brackets?  Was told by Tri City Plating today theat the '70-'71 bumpers are different from '72.

Assuming we are talking about Challengers here...

I have 72 bumpers on my 70, and they fit the 70 brackets just fine and dandy. The only difference is the 72 bumpers have a slot in them for the jack. The bumper gaurds are the same 70-72 too. In 73 everything changed.

Hey thanks!   Ordering a bumper from Tri City tomorrow and I guess I will be ordering a '70-'71.  Don't need no slots.
