I have no clue, but I have Norton on mine. They cost the same I believe too. I guess this is like choosing between Coke and Pepsi.

Professionally and at home I use Trend. It does not bog down your PC like Norton AV. Go to www.trendmicro.com. It is quite dependable also.

I have 30 computers that I take care of and I think Norton is Terrible.  Just installed a new copy of norton and it missed a couple virus that I knew were in the machine.  I think alot of Virus makers target the norton because it's so popular.  I like panda right now.   :2cents:

Haven't had Symantec (Norton) in nearly a year, but regularly clear cookies, temporary inet files. I do use Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster. No problems to date :cooldancing:

I use AVG Free-Edition on my home computer... course its so crappy that I would hardly notice if there was a virus anyways...

Use McAfee on my laptop, but am going to replace it (I have a free subscription that will expire soon).

I used to use AVG, which was good. I never had any problems with it.

Now I use avast.

I would recommend anything but McAfee.  it came with my new computer and has been nothing but a pain in the butt.  At work we use Norton and a great fire wall, no spy ware or virus.
I have heard good things about Panda and plan on switching it out McAfee once the free offer is over.

I use Symantec ( Norton ) both for the DOD systems I support and at home.  Works plenty good for me.  Of course I don't open emails from people I don't know, that say I've won a prize, some girl wants to thank me for a great nite, you know the ones.
