Who does YO get their patch panels from?
« on: March 13, 2007 - 07:23:14 PM »
Anyone know who Year One gets their lower rear patch panels from?

This is what the Goodmark page says:

2120-690-70L / R      1970-74 Challenger LH / RH,     14-1/2" x 34-1/2"      UPS Ground  $ 64.95 ea

Each as in each set?  Or each side?  They make it so dang confusing.

And on the Year One site, they say $60 per side, or $112 a pair.

Who's got the best bang for the buck AND customer service?

 Steve,i got my left quater lower patch panel from goodmark, quality seems to be allright.my neigbor who is a professional body man is supposed to come over this saturday and install the trunk extention and the lower patch panel in my 71 chally.  :woohoo: so we'll see how it installs this weekend.i know were gonna have to fandangle the floor extension some, but he said depending on the condition of it,he might spice into it instead of totally replacing it.by the way i have a l.quater panel from the paddock i bought years ago if you might be interseted.it's the one that goes up to the upper body line, not a complete quarter but close.i'll post some more under members restoration if all goes right after this weekend.  :2thumbs: ----dave---  :burnout:

I pretty much had to do the same on mine.  Ended up splicing in the extension and just what I needed on the quarter since the replacements were for crap.

The extension went pretty well, the the quarter patch was a bit of a bugger.  The wheel opening lip was off and the rear by the valance is way different.

You can see some pics on my web site.

Dave, maybe sometime when I come out to N. St. Paul this spring I'll come take a look at that panel.  I dont plan on doing anything on the car till this fall/next winter, its just I want to get all my research done so I can act like I know what I'm doing  :roflsmiley:

I don't know who Year One gets their sheetmetal from, but I am pretty sure that it is not Goodmark, because panels that I have gotten from Year One are crap, and everything that I have gotten from Goodmark has been far superior and worth every penny more than the cheap knock-offs.
