I received a phone call from TheCudaGuy's dad this morning. What a nice man. He wanted to apologize to the board for his lack of involvement in this project. As some of you may recall, CudaGuy needed to come home from Iraq last year to attend his aunt's funeral. Between family crisis and health issues, he has not been able to keep up with our group and what we've been doing to get a cuda for CudaGuy. I assured him the board would understand and that we have continued our endeavor to make this happen.
He told me he had $500 to add to the pot and would be mailing me a check shortly. So that should help! He also said that he is hoping to be there at Carlisle when we present CudaGuy with the car. It should be a wonderful time for the both of them.
