any place that sells new front speakers? they are a 4x9 correct??

bought a 73 cuda and had a few electrical problems under the dash so I decided to take it all out and redo it, found that someone had cut up the hole for the front speaker and installed 2 new smaller speakers side by side, looked like he!!, so I'm looking for a replacement if there is such a thing... thanks

Welcome aboard here!! 

  The original speaker was a 4X10, but wasn't worth much, to be kind. You might try looking for something aftermarket, as the originals I only see occasionally on E-Bay.

almost all MFG make them , but they list as 9X3 or 8 X3

Do yourself , and your ears a favour and buy new speakers...the sound quality far outweighs the ' original ' paper thin output...

thanks for the info, i'd planned on something aftermarket but wasn't sure if there was an "exact" match so that I could just put one back the way it should be, just hated to see my good dash hacked up by someone who didn't know what they were doing....
