Pedal Assembly
« on: March 15, 2007 - 05:26:38 PM »
I have several questions.

          1)   Is the a difference between E and B body pedal assemblies?

          2)   If so, are they interchangeable and which one's do I have.

          3)   If I can use these, how do I restore them.

          4)  What color should I paint them.

Thanks,

Walt

I would start by having them dipped or bead blasted to see what you really have to work with. They look pretty rusted.

Those look like e-bod pedals.  But eh...were they on the bottom of the ocean or something? :roflsmiley:  Get them blasted then paint them semi-flat black.  I use krylon rust tough enamel semi-flat black, looks good, cheap, dries fast, no worries.

I believe those are the later 72-74 E body pedals
they are generally black 7/8 of the way up the pedal & bare steeel above that but you can paint it with Detail grey to look like bare steel
