'64 Polara
« on: February 18, 2007 - 08:02:19 AM »
Hey all, long time no post.
Hope to get back in the swing of things and catch up on what is going on here.
Thought you all might enjoy some pictures of this.
It was built in the late 70's when the Polara wasn't rally worth anything.
It's on a Ford 4x4 frame with a 460 5speed.

It's still a truck with a different body added  :dunno: That car should have been restored and a maxie put under the hood, then she would be proud and worth something.  :2cents:

Yup, now it would be worth something, back when it was 4x4'd the Polara was probably bought for about $300.
The numbers I could find on it:
6345171098
Not sure if it's the VIN# or not, it has an assigned VIN from the 4x4 conversion.
It has a surprizingly solid body, just kind of a neat oddball vehicle the way it is.
I can remember this "car" from when I was in highschool and it was runnig around.
My buddy found it when he was over in Boise looking at a custom Ford unibody truck and wound up buying both.

It's a ford/Dodge Hybrid. Thus the F O R G E hood letters and Ford sticker.
