A friend of mine has a question about factory led in the upper quarter panel/roof seem of a challenger. should this be taken out? because someone told him that the paint that they use today will not bond properly and will end up peeling or bobbling because of the led, is this true??THANKS FOR YOUR TIME. Mine was a mess under the vinyl as well. I have no vinyl now so my body guy removed 99% of the lead, then used a porous (or coarse) bondo, then finished with the good stuff on the factory roof seam. Looks as good as any show trailer queen now.
