    So I get this phone call from enterprize rent a car

    Saying I need to return the 2007 hemi 4x4 I rented because it has been turned in as stolen and dont want me to get stopped. Someone gave a wrong tag number and I have that tag on my truck rental. I told them to either come get it where it sets, or bail me out. I'm 500 miles one way from them. My office is pissed. And I got conned into leaving my home for 6 days and lieing to my dad saying I was sick, then these people pull this on me.  Man o man. Seems like the drama never ends

    Really, Enterprise should drive right to you and bring you another truck. It's not your fault. And I would insist that they do that for you. :2cents:

    Tell Enterprise, that they screwed up, and it is there responsibility to make it right. 

    I would also tell them that if I got arrested for driving a stolen truck, the next call they would be getting would be from my lawyer.

    Car rental companies are always saying you need to do this or you need to do that when it their fault for something.  Their customer service skills suck.   :villagers:

    Like you Allen, I have to rent cars for my work every time I travel.  I have gotten to locations to pick up a car, and they tell me sorry we don’t have the type of car you requested, would you like to pay for an upgrade?  B.S.  I was renting a small truck for $19.95 a day for two weeks.  I stood my ground and the ended up giving me a Lincoln Navigator for the same price.

    That does suck, but hold your ground.  As stated it is not your fault for the mix up.  But I don't understand this?:

    They cost me a 760 buck airline ticket, one way now,  that had to be bought for Salt Lake City Utah instead of Denver, 2 hrs of work while in over time and they charged me for another rental car for 3 days (havent seen a credit for the other yet) and a 75 buck wrong location drop off, not to include dragging me off from my motel room till 7pm last night in Ogden Utah. The Other rental was gone when I got back from work tonight. I left the keys at the front desk.  Paid 1600 bucks for a round trip ticket from Alabama to Denver plus the 760 now... I just gave them my AMX card and said charge away, this will bite you later....

    $1600 from Al. to Denver round trip, damn ???.....I flew from Indy to Phoenix (stopped in Denver) for $204 round trip in January....booked the flight a couple of weeks before traveling

    I've flown Milwaukee to Fayetteville Ar (Ar nortwest regional) . Never a direct flight either NEVER paid over $300 ... WOW!

    I hate that it cost so much for the flight, but that is how it goes sometimes on very short notice.  In the end, I think Enterprise will be footing the bill for this flight...................    :cooldancing:

    Buy a ticket in 2 days and fly from a small airport (huntsville) to wherever, the closer to the fly date the higher the cost. Some tickets cost me 200 bucks, just depends on time and where.
