Looks like a cool car to play with. Doesn't hurt to see if he'll go a lower on the price but for $800 it looks interesting if there aren't issues with the frame and such. But still, it'll need lotsa work.
Depends what you want to do with it. Do you want to restore it or make it driveable? Are you going to be doing most of the work? Looks like it has a lot of potential for $800, IMO but I could be wrong. If you really like this type of car, get it before you have one of those, "I coulda had it for $800..." stories.
I personally think these cars look real mean all black with a nice set of fat Cragars or Keystone Klassics out back, sort of the 70's look.
