Awlright...this'll be lame, but was funny @ the time
« on: May 28, 2006 - 09:05:31 AM »
ok, don't judge me too harshly, but occasionally I will drive my wife's Hyundai Accent.  (I'll pause for the "boo's")

It's a Silver 2-door '99 hatchback we call 'The Silver Bullet', and has increased port injectors, a hotter than stock cam, I've hollowed out the catalytic converter for better exhaust and a few l'il go-fast goodies, so it's a peppy l'il thing.  I hadda work this morning (Sunday @ 9AM..ugh!) and since I don't have enuff fuel in the Chally for the 80+ Km round-trip, took the wife's car.

Was cruisin along nicely, listenin to cd's, when a few Backwards-Hat-Brigade shmucks came whippin along in a Jetta and a Cavalier Z22, messin with each other, subwoofers a-goin' nutso bumtiss bumtiss bumtiss!!

Like I always say, it's not how fast you drive, it's how you drive fast.  5 minutes later, when they finally caught up at a red light downtown, they pulled along either side, each driver looking with sheer tormented wonder at how they got SMOKED by a frickin Accent!  What was the BEST part was, when they caught up, I had the stereo cranked...with Air Supply 'I'm All Out of Love'!!!  When the light changed, I gave'm a tip of the head, clicked off the O/D, and squawked thru the interesction, leaving them to wonder...

Haha, all I can think about with the song "I'm All Out of Love" is the scene after the party from the movie "Out Cold."
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
