Hi All,
As some of you may have noticed on the intro board, I am getting ready to put together a 3.9 magnum turbo V6 for my barracuda, and I will retain the original 4 speed. I know that as far as the early magnums go, interchangeability isn't a problem, and getting it mounted and connected to the trans shouldn't be a problem.
What I am most interested in is the later magnums, ie. the 5.7, and by extension the new 3.5. I know that engine mounts are available to adapt the 5.7 to the LA engine mounts, and I have been told that the old LA bellhousings will bolt up to them. What I am trying to determine, is whether or not the 3.5 uses the same transmission and engine mounts as the 5.7.  If this is the case, the 3.5 is looking like an even more attractive option. All aluminum, OHC, and cross bolted mains... Thanks for any input...

Well, from what I can tell, the 3.5 will interchange with the 5.7 with minimal effort. What are you 5.7 guys running for flywheels and clutches? Will a standard 6 bolt mount up to the crank? That would just be too easy.

Why a 3.5. I didnt know the 5.7 was a magnum. The 5.2 and 5.9 are though.
