Got my new legendary seat covers installed cheap
« on: April 04, 2007 - 12:15:38 PM »
Last wednesday I took my front and back seats over to an old mans upholstery shop. He has been in bisness for 42 yrs. I took him the foam and legendary covers too. He charged me 200 bucks and had them ready by friday. That was quick, they came out great, and the cost was fantastic.

I am going to have to post new pics of my cars progress.   :2thumbs:

That does sound cheap, I paid $450 for the front buckets, back seat and package tray.

Wow, that's quite the deal for installation. :eek7:  That's impressive the guy's been in business for 42 years, too.  I've been told the Amish do great work with installing seat covers and such, so I'll probably do that if I don't feel up to the challenge.

I guess I know what I can do on the side for a few $$$ after my retirement. Guys, it ain't that difficult, my wife and I have done three interriors of our own, it just takes some good heated patience. Just like I told KTO in the restoration link, sort of like sex, "gettem hot and take your time"  :roflsmiley:  Now, if I just had enough nerve to take on the headliners, I'm told that lil project can turn the most patient saint into a drunken cussin sailor.  :smilielol:
