    Hey, since you're using yabbse, how about using the member map function.  It'd be kinda nice to see who on the board is in my area.

    they have that?  did not know, ill look into it.  been meaning to upgrade to a newer version anyway, so it would be a good time then

    Yeah, it's pretty cool.  when logged in, you just point to where you live and it puts a "thumb tack" on a world map.

    For an example, click on the "YaBB SE" link at the bottom of this page and then click on "member map" on the left column of that page.

    ill attempt the upgrade soon.  last time didnt go so well, but some new features might be nice.  ill get to it.

    ok so i upgraded, but is this some sort of extra add in?  the only mods i know about for this forum software is through BoardMod, but i cant see that they do mods for Yabb SE?

    Hmm.. It's been a while since I did it on my board.  In any case, I did some research.  The thread on the yabbse web site for this mod is here:

    I was going to upload the file but I thought you might feel more comfortable by getting it yourself.

    Also, the mod looks a little nicer than the previous example I posted.  Take a look at this example which uses this mod:
