74 Cuda Bumper Question
« on: April 09, 2007 - 12:43:44 PM »
Hi All,

I tried to tuck the front bumper of my Cuda in closer to the body using the method I have seen posted here and other places, basicaly drilling the holes further forward in the bumper arms.

I drilled the holes and when I mounted the bumper the top of the arms hit on the rad suppout just under the headlights. The new holes at the front are not even close to lining up.  THe bumper needs to go higher by quite a bit.

Has anyone tried this mod and had this problem?

I have not tried it and I had my doubts if it would work.  Sorry.   :dunno:

Did it on my Challenger. Worked just fine, but it is a Dodge.

Do you have any pics of the rad support where the bumper arms come out to the bumper?

Thanks,
